Vermont Statute, Title 20, Chapter 83 established a Vermont Veterans Fund grant program. This program is funded through donations from a State Income Tax check off box and from private, and business, contributions.
A nine-member committee meets annually to review requests for proposal and select individuals and/or organizations to receive grants. The purpose of this Fund is to provide grants to provide services as outlined below:

For the long-term care of veterans

To aid homeless veterans

For transportation services to veterans

To fund veterans’ service programs

To recognize veterans
